Description
Walk around the lake collection
Netherlands, Amsterdam, Gaasperplas
Dec. 19, 2010
We got even more snow last night, so I woke up early and decided to take my camera and go to the park around the lake. Little did I expect it would be such a marvellous birding experience!
I was very happily surprised to find two of my favourite water birds at the very same spot, near a small air hole in the ice... both looking out for the same fish - but with very different fishing-habits... Here they are, my two favourites: Great Crested Grebe Wikipedia and Grey Heron Wikipedia
