The Netherlands, and specifically the provinces North- and south Holland, are known for the floriculture. Every spring, the flowering bulbs fields make for a beautiful landscape, and are a real tourist attraction

Where is this, near Lisse? Have you already been out to find tulip-fields? I have not yet done so myself, but it seems to be time to go. Yesterday after all I saw a lovely tulipfield in the weather forecast pictures!

Yes, it's Lisse - opposite a large restaurant/hotel called "the Nachtegaal" -
We went to see the tulip fields too - following the Koggeroute starting North of Purmerend... yup, it definitely is the time for it :D ... we saw many fields in full colour, and still a few just starting... but that was Tuesday and Wednesday - in one day time, we could already notice the difference as more colour was coming ... I'll upload some of those pics too, today :) If you see the chance, definitely go, nature is sooo beautiful and the landscape is gorgeous.
