Woods at dawn

Trying to catch the sunlight, but still, never succeeding.
This is a series of photographs trying to catch the sunlight at dawn... how hard to get it right.
I guess I should use filters - and a tripod ...
These pics are not perfect, but I am learning, and think they may be useful as backgrounds -
