The wolves pack at Artis existst of 3 adult wolves (1 male, two females) and three young wolves, born May 19, 2011. The young are big already, but their fur isn't yet as white as the adult's. The wolves living in Artis are Hudson Bay-wolves, that originate from Canada.

Conservation status
The Wolf (Canis lupus) is on the IUCN Red list of threatened species - status: Least Concern - no info about the subspecies Arctic Wolf
